1. General Agreement
1.1 By using the storage facility, the tenant agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
1.2 The storage facility provides a space for parking and container storage only. No tenancy or rights of occupancy are granted.
1.3 The tenant acknowledges that this is an outdoor storage facility, and the yard owner is not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss.
1.4 The yard owner reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time with reasonable notice.
2. Payment & Fees
2.1 All payments are processed via GoCardless.
2.2 Invoices are issued on the 8th of each month, and payment is collected around the 15th of the month via GoCardless.
2.3 All payments are made by Direct Debit. Rent is collected in advance, on or around the 15th of each month, covering the following month. Your first payment may be collected separately when your booking starts.
2.4 Late payments may result in additional charges or termination of the rental agreement.
2.5 No refunds will be issued for early termination by the tenant.
2.6 No VAT is added to the agreed storage fees. Setting up a Direct Debit authorises future collections; it does not itself take a payment.
3. Vehicle & Security Requirements
3.1 All caravans, campervans, and vehicles must be fully insured at all times. Units are stored at the owner's risk.
3.2 All gas bottles must be disconnected and left safe and secure.
3.3 All windows and doors must be locked and left safe and secure.
3.4 Hitch locks, wheel locks, and jockey wheels must be in good working order.

4.6 No hazardous, illegal, or flammable materials may be stored in or around the vehicle/caravan.
5. Shipping Container Storage
5.1 Containers are rented for storage purposes only. They must not be used for residential, business operations, or subletting.
5.2 Tenants must ensure that all items stored within the container are legal, non-perishable, and do not pose a fire or safety risk.
5.3 The yard owner is not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of items stored inside the containers. Tenants must arrange their own insurance.
5.4 The tenant is responsible for securing their own container with a suitable lock.
5.5 No hazardous, flammable, or illegal materials may be stored inside the container, including but not limited to: • Gas cylinders or fuel • Chemicals, paint, or solvents • Firearms, ammunition, or explosives • Food or perishable items • Any items that may cause environmental damage
5.6 The tenant must not make modifications to the container, such as drilling holes, installing wiring, or painting without written consent.
6. Access & Security
6.1 Once the yard owner has given final access approval, customers have access to the storage facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from their agreed access start date. Application approval and Direct Debit setup alone do not grant access.
6.2 The yard owner may change access times with reasonable notice.
6.3 Tenants must not share access codes, keys, or security information with third parties.
6.4 The yard owner reserves the right to refuse access to any person for security reasons.
7. Liability & Insurance
7.1 The tenant is responsible for ensuring their vehicle, caravan, or items stored inside a shipping container are fully insured.
